To set the keyboard shortcuts, right click the app icon -> Manage Extensions. From there, click the hamburger menu -> Keyboard shortcuts. Here you can set keyboard shortcuts for any extension. You can also specify Chrome (when Chrome is in focus) or Global (when any window is in focus).

The hamburger menu does not display in the extension details on Brave.

Instead, I was able to find it by following the below:

  1. Open Brave Settings
  2. Click search icon in the top right corner
  3. Type in shortcut
  4. Click on keyboard shortcuts in the Extensions section of the search results >> should take you to brave://extensions/shortcuts
  5. Scrolled down and was able to find the shortcut settings for Meet Mute

Note: none of them had defaults set.
