Wishlist : allow for "in progress" label

Hi would be nice to be able to have some options as to visualize the progress of a task.
For the moment it's either a 2DO or "it's done" with a strike-through.
How about being able to label it as "in progress" and to rearrange it between the 2DOs and the ones finished ?
I don't wish to simply create a custom list for that.

to keep things consistent, I wonder if there is a "in progress" equivalent to greyed out strike-through text?
bold? italic? both? place some symbol inside the circle? (just like a check is added to it when a task is done)

3 states (todo, in progress and done) shown bellow:

• Task name
• Task name
• Task name

also, ideally it would be effortless to change between these 3 states (not require to go into task details).

maybe a hotkey?
while hovering over a task
press 1 = todo
press 2 = in progress
press 3 = done

OR

mouse buttons?
left click = done
right click = in progress
