They must NOT be defined in code (tasks/databases.yml) but in a separate manala_mysql_databases_defaults variable.

  • Related module variables must be omitted by default
  • To ensure backward compatibility, manala_mysql_databases_defaults must be set to
    encoding: utf8
    collation: utf8_general_ci

then, later, reset to {}
