Change Keyboard Layout

Is there a way to change the current keyboard layout from QWERTY to other keyboard layouts ? I have not found much of any documentation on that so i decided to just ask.

I managed to do this by manually editing the gsettings / dconf files. Not very professional, but it worked well enough. Trying to set those via gsettings or dconf didn't work.
