Hello and Happy New Year!
First, I just want to say that maildev has been quite helpful to me from a dev perspective. I see that there are lots of open issues and a request for some help, so I wouldn't mind doing this myself aside from the fact that Java is my jam and node is quite foreign to me. So, even if you want to maybe give me some "crash course" steps on getting the app setup, I might consider doing that and then submitting a PR. Anyhow, I want to do some throughput/connection testing and, IIRC, our server takes ~4s/message, but not sure what the timeout is off-hand. I would like to request some way to specify an arbitrary amount of latency to add to each send operation and an arbitrary amount of time after which to close a connection. I did skim thru to the source to see if I could find anything obvious to no avail. So, like I say, if it's not too much effort on your end I would appreciate a way to do this. Otherwise, if you want to provide some high-level setup steps and maybe some kind of guidance, I'm pretty good at filling in the gaps. Thanks!
