Username is required - problem with registration

I always get error "username is required" when im trying to register a new account.

Can anyone help me?

I've only extended User Model:

All looks good to me - what about your controller code? Or are you using the built-in controllers?

I use mainly the buil-in controllers.

I've only added AuthController in app\controllers:

It looks the problem doesn't exist when i have in config\Auth:

public $validFields = [
        'email','username'
    ];

I didn't have username before.

However, i still want to authenticate users only by e-maill adress. How could i do it?
