Memory layers generate duplicate fids after "Commit Changes" #349

To reproduce:

  • Create layer. Any geometry type is fine.
  • Add at least 1 feature.
  • Press the "commit changes" button.
  • Use the table view to confirm that the fids are "new0, new1, new2..."
  • Add another feature. This feature will have fid "new0" and won't be added.

The issue is probably caused by this commit on GeoTools.
