I have a laptop with 1366x768 resolution screen. Just for funsies I dragged-resized the cinnamenu window to go to the edges of the screen (I was trying to test a full screen-ish menu experience a'la gnome). When my cursor resizing the window approached the edge of the screen, the menu disappeared, and there was no way to get it back. Clicking on the cinnamenu menu button did not show the menu window anymore! I had to completely reset everything from the settings panel to get it back.
Please note that I have the cinnamon panel set vertically, on the left side of the screen.
