What happened?

When new network devices are attached the applet disappiers/appiers several times.
This happens to me when I start docker-compose environments, therefor virtual netwok devices are created/destroid.
This happens since 3 weeks I think (don't know the version) - before this was no problem.

I know this is the case. For now, it's the way to account for attached/detached network devices.

This applet needs to be completely rewritten. Please be patient.
