It would be nice to be able to remote control the application (e.g. by using Bitfocus Companion). Therefore this application would need some kind of an API (e.g. WebSocket, or OSC (Open Sound Control), MIDI, etc.).
The most interesting part for me would be to remote control the volumes of the different applications.

It has an AppleScript API that might do what you want.
