focus window under cursor only when display changes

yabai -m signal --add event=display_changed action='yabai -m window --focus mouse'

this should technically work when cursor changes display and the command yabai -m window --focus mouse should run but doesn't work on mac. I have tried logging the event change and it does log when display changes, and even the command yabai -m window --focus mouse works separately but when combined together, it doesn't work. Any solutions or work around?
