Would it be possible to add such an option just to check if a custom configuration is valid?

I'm currently setting up tabs for general setting, style, eventually followed by a tab for rules and then a „free form“ field for other config option not handled by the GUI.

I guess a „check config“ option, or automatic check and warning would be nice.
