emacs-kl, no leim folder #18
Comments
I'm far from an emacs pro so I'll inquire here, I started seeing errors looking for the latin (Tex?) language when opening the minibuffer after installing this package (previously I used emacs-k before that became a normal installer). After copying the leim folder from my previous install I don't get errors but the minibuffer seems to be using an input system I don't recognise, it's mostly the same but I type a few chars then have to commit what I've typed with enter before any completions will show. Again, it's probably the latin/tex input method. Is there any way I can debug if this is some bug with a package I updated when reinstalling, or if this is a bug in the build of emacs? |
interesting, I purposely excluding leim folder since I believe we should use Windows input method editor instead of Emacs one. Which error happens for you when the leim is excluded? |
I've reincluded the leim folder, it should be available on the next build |
I’m not sure about a bug exactly, somehow this quail input scheme was activated on startup a couple times. After some random changes to my config it stopped. I’ll keep an eye on it but I really don’t have any leads :S |
Actually, I'm still noticing a buffer called Quail Completions every time I use emacs, but the input mode itself doesn't seem to be active |
The leim folder expected in
share\emacs\31.0.50\lisp
is missing causing various errors. The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
