[joomla.org] No captcha when attempting to log into the forum on joomla.org

when attempting to log into the forum, after entering my username and password the following message appears:
You exceeded the maximum allowed number of login attempts. In addition to your username and password you now also have to pass the CAPTCHA test.

However, no capture test es ever displayed. This happened the first time I attempted to log in after not having logged into the forum in several months.
