How to use Get.toNamed with GetMaterialPage.router

I try to push a new page in the stack with Get.toNamed() but I always get the following error:

FlutterError (Navigator.onGenerateRoute was null, but the route named "/main/noticeProblem" was referenced.
To use the Navigator API with named routes (pushNamed, pushReplacementNamed, or pushNamedAndRemoveUntil), the Navigator must be provided with an onGenerateRoute handler.

in my main.dart I have the following:

I have used GetMaterialPage.router because my FirstRunMiddleware() needs to be asynchronous

@SK1n Glad you solved it a long time ago. Would be nice if you share your solution with others experiencing the same issue (like me). Did you solve it using @wRiqie solution or did you find another solution?

@wRiqie Unfortunately when is use Get.rootDelegate.toNamed(route), this command never returns.

Calling async function:

print('trying to navigate to $routeName');
await Get.rootDelegate.toNamed(routeName);
print('after $routeName');

Log output

[... other stuff not 'after ...']

Yes, solved it by using the solution mentioned by @wRiqie. In your case I don't know why it's never reaching your second print

Now I was able to solve my issue (where nothing happens when calling Get.rootDelegate.toNamed(routeName)) by adding an anchorRoute of / in my GetRouterOutlet.

I am using get: ^4.6.5
