Would be nice to create a mean of signal class variable for every emulator. Make it easier to retrieve the mean of the signal after it's been subtracted, and subsequent recreation of the signal. Instead of having a separate file with the mean signal.

Or even better an option to do the subtraction based on a binary flag during creation of the emulator (y or n to subtracting the mean), save this and recreate the signal based on the existence of the mean signal and the flag setting (ie just adding it back again). :)
