I'm using the Share on Mastodon plugin to automatically post notes to Mastodon. I've customized what gets sent, but I'd like to customize it further.

Send the note in markdown so that links and other light formatting are preserved
Hook into Shortnotes so that if the reply-to URL is Mastodon, the proper reply ID is set
Pass on images' ALT text when images and galleries are in a note
Enable auto-posts on regular blog posts, but share the title rather than the content
