When I put in a youtube link into the app it comes back with two errors: Errors: This URL is currently not supported by YTDL and Unable to extract uploader ID.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Download the Microsoft app
  2. Enter a youtube video link
  3. And see the error
  • Windows 10
  • Version: 2.2.2
  • Microsoft Store
Open Video Downloader 5_19_2023 9_44_00 AM

I would just like to be able to use it from the app if possible. 🙏
And on suggestions on getting it to work would be great.

I was not even aware it was published to the Microsoft store. Version 2.2.2 is very old and still uses YouTube-dl instead of yt-dlp

feel free to download from my fork instead

Basically just download the .dmg from here: https://github.com/StefanLobbenmeier/youtube-dl-gui/releases/latest
