How to install for HA?

I see some bits and pieces related to HA, such as -o hass_mqtt and some yaml files with 'hass' mentioned. Is there a guide on how to install this for use with HA?

No guide (so far)
Basically you need HA, a MQTT broker (with HA MQTT setup with autodiscovery on)
then you need to run mpp-solar pointing the results to the mqtt broker, eg
mpp-solar -p /dev/ttyUSB0 -P PI30MAX -o hassd_mqtt -q mqttbrokerip -c QPIGS
-T is useful to amend the unique_id of the objects created and using screen instead of the mqqtbrokerip will allow you to see the messages for diagnosis

What's the difference between -o hass_mqtt and -o hassd_mqtt ?

Do -n name and --mqtttopic topic do anything? They don't seem to be used in the mqtt or screen outputs?

I played around with the command a bit, and some times, I'll get a validity_check output for a CRC error. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but this gets published to mqtt and never gets cleared even when subsequent runs are fine?
