Ask upgrade fails #2371
Comments
Based on what i see, is that you try to update packages that are newer than the packages in the mirror. It basically tells you it can't downgrade them like that, it doesn't work. Have you used a newer mirror before using that one? |
Nope.
Just took the updates from TestFlight then performed “apk update” then “apk upgrade”.

Well it is what I said. As you can see it says name of the package and version you want to install it to, but then the conflicts give you the same package name but with a higher version than the one that it is about to be installed. That’s why it says it conflicts. Either the beta has an updated root filesystem, or the packages were somehow updated and published updated but ish has an mirror overwriting script it runs every start of the app, which resets to a stable mirror, the developers forgot to reset the package versions to how they should have been. |
Glad to hear you were correct.
Has the issue been resolved on TestFlight? I have switched to the App Store version due to the difficulties and as a relative newcomer to Linux perhaps that is a better option for me though I would like to see how far iSH can go.
Many Thanks for looking into this matter for me.
Cheers
L

Again upgrade fails. Update seems OK.
Screenshot attached. Hope it helps.
