What do the following outputs of the summarise command refer to?

  1. 'count'
  2. 'bucket size'

Hey @Sanat-Mishra! Count refers to the number of results for each type. For example, the same web services is used in the InterMine UI result tables - this tutorial might make it a little clearer?

Buckets generally refer to the number of chunks we split the summary up into. In the graph in the UI tutorial (I've copy/pasted it here) each bar in the histogram is the same as a bucket.

Does that help? :)

Yes!
Thanks for referring me to the tutorial.

However, the count value (17, in this case) refers to the bucket containing the most number of genes. (I think this is only for the Gene Length case though).

I also ran the same query on the web now, and it did clear things for me.

The count values appeared when I hovered my cursor over the corresponding bucket.

I think the results vary slightly, depending on whether the result column is numeric or string values

Right.
Thanks! :)
