"During sign in, I’d like to be able to provide either my username/password OR my api token thing. While you say you are only getting the token, you could also be harvesting my creds 🙂"

This is very much one of those issues you don't think about as the author. Good suggestion.

Feels like this is probably a v1 issue; something to implement once we've unified the iOS and macOS log in views.
