Daedalus 5.2.0 update

The Daedalus 5.2.0 Mainnet release supports Cardano node version 1.35.4 and Cardano wallet version 2022.12.14.
This release also updates the Catalyst API URL to point to a new URL.
Additionally, this update adds Byron wallet tracking capability and aggregates similar RAM sizes for easier data analysis.

Daedalus 5.1.0 update

Daedalus mainnet 5.1.0 brings two updates to the hardware wallet integration. An updated LedgerJS package including the upcoming Ledger Cardano App 5.0.0 and Babbage support, and Trezor Connect update to version 9.

Additionally, this release integrates cardano-wallet v2022-10-06 which is compatible with the Babbage era and fixes the fee calculation performance deterioration.

This update also introduces an optional anonymous usage data analytics collection that will help the team to prioritize new features and bug fixing.

Daedalus 5.0.0 Mainnet release supports node version 1.35.3 and is Vasil compatible.

This release also fixes the following known issues:

• Older Daedalus executables that didn’t get deleted after auto update
• Errors when selecting syncing wallets during delegation/redeem ITN rewards process
• System using previous amount of tokens to be sent even if user alters the amount during fee calculation

Additionally, this release replaces the darwin-launcher.go process image with cardano-launcher.

The “Terms of Service” have also been updated.

Daedalus 4.11.0 update

Daedalus 4.11.0 adds support for Ledger Nano S Plus and Trezor firmware 2.5.1.
This release also fixes two known issues with Trezor: first-time delegating using Trezor firmware 2.4.3, and pairing with Trezor Model T if a wrong passphrase is inserted while verifying an address.
This version also improves the messaging for insufficient funds, supports native Apple Silicon chip, (although it is not ready for distribution yet), and lays the foundation for future support of this chipset.

The sync screen now displays detailed information about all the node syncing stages.
The Send screen automatically updates the minimum ada required to process a transaction and includes a new dialog for selecting tokens.

This Daedalus release integrates the latest version of cardano-wallet, which supports Cardano node v1.33.0. This latest Cardano node version brings a significant performance improvement.
For computers with less than 16GB of RAM, a new splash screen is displayed, with an option to enable an alternative configuration of the Cardano node runtime system (RTS), which can reduce memory usage, and a reminder about the recommended hardware requirements for Daedalus.
This version also includes minor fixes and user interface improvements.
