@bueltge I have installed the plugin and I can see that the mu-plugin folder and content is created. How can I check if the plugin do cache the translations files?
My site uses advanced-cache.php (Breeze cache) – im not sure if this covers the nedded WP Object Cache?

The plugin do not have any note or hint about the caching. But if you use an object cache, you can try with the plugin Query Monitor and the Add-on for Query Monitor https://github.com/trepmal/qm-object-cache to see all stuff inside the cache.
