I would like to use infracost with resources outside of AWS, Azure, GCP.
For that, it would be great to be able to specify custom resources along with their prices.

@dhilgarth can you possibly share some details about what types of custom resources you're referring to?

Sure, I'm thinking about resources from other providers, e.g. Hetzner, OVH, OTC, OCI...
I'm thinking about both virtual servers as well as co-located physical servers, but also about their other resources like load balancers, volumes, storage boxes etc. etc.

Background: we specialize in slashing cloud spend by running work loads on alternate providers

Thanks @dhilgarth - that's helpful. Longer term, we would like to move towards a provider model where community-supported cloud vendors could also be added (similar to Terraform providers). That is the underlying work we have to do before things like this can be supported.

Yes, that sounds exactly like what I was looking for.
Is this already part of a milestone plan?

Great - thanks for confirming. When we have a roadmap/ETA we will post here for visibility (we're currently focused on AWS/Azure/GCP).
