I have started working on upgrading packages and plugins to the latest versions.
It's really time-consuming to fix series of errors that new updates demand.
However, I have made some great progress. And there is a WIP PR
#77

There is only a small issue that is pending which I will get to it when I have some time.
If you need it urgently, feel free to checkout to that branch and contribute by working on #78 and send a PR.

@imranhsayed thanks for working on it , i want to test gatsby on my ecommerce website i am a novice in coding so dont know how to contribute to #78 i will however test this build once its stable and also i would request you if you have time to also modify the product page to include variants in option picker or guide me to a piece of code on how to do it it will be bvery helpfull

@imranhsayed thanks for working on it, really apprecieate it. Hope you don't mind specifiying what node versions and npm versions work with the repo. Maybe just dropping in a .nmprc file or something like that on the root folder
