Adding Jacoco makes sense?

Does adding jacoco make sense for this project?

P.S : since this is for maintaining the latest arch, wanted to know anything better recommended for instrumented test coverage.

Yes, I think it does make sense to add it to the project. Alkaa does have unit tests in most layers, but it's difficult to keep track of the coverage with reports spread all over the modules.
At this moment, this is not a priority for the project. However, feel free to use Alkaa (and even submit a PR) if you want to learn more and integrate it.
