Hey man, this laptop has an SMBUS trackpad. can you try voodoormi? I have an dc1008 (i5 instead i7), similar specs and I use voodoormi with gestures but every boot it really is a hit or miss.

I have tried the voodoo series, but no luck. Touchpad buttons don't work and the touchpad is not recognized. So i keep the ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext.
I got it work but no magic keyboard.

build 1.4 of VoodooRMI has fixed the trackpad issue. Try it out!
