IMPORTANT: You do not install this API directly, it is included in the Directus Suite, located here:
directus/directus. This repository is only used to help organize the codebase.
The Directus API is a PHP powered REST / GraphQL API that acts as a layer on top of a relational database.
IMPORTANT: Unless contributing to the project, you shouldn't build the API from source. Use directus/directus instead.
- Clone the repo
- Install the depencencies using
composer:composer install - Run the application using any local server, like MAMP, DDEV, Docker, or any other (preferably) Apache installation.
