I have used the search function to see if someone else has already submitted the same bug report.
I will describe the problem with as much detail as possible.
App version
2.5 x64
Windows version
Windows 10 22H2
Scenario
I have trimmed my Windows OS installation using NTLite, so I'm missing some dll files.
After I open the program settings to uncheck all the dll files that are missing in my system, and I press the "Ok" button to apply changes, it still gives me an error related to dll file "dsreg.dll" about a missing MUI file (dsreg.dll.mui?).
I have the dsreg.dll.mui file in my system, so I'm not sure which MUI file it fails to find and tries to load. But I had no problems when using Error Lookup v2.4.2
Expected behavior
The program may ignore or handle in a different way when it fails to load a MUI file, since it is very annoying to see that error dialog box every time that I run the program (and I can't do nothing to fix it). Or at least the error message may provide more descriptive information about what is happening and the name of the MUI file... so maybe I could create a dummy .mui file to get rid of this error.
Actual behavior
Message:
The resource loader did not find the MUI file.
Status:
-1073020927 (0xC00B0001)
Description:
C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\dsreg.dll
