FIX: signup link for react-native public server is not working

react-native tutorial signup process does not work. How do I get access to this environment? When I sign up on that link, I get a 404 response from /auth/signup as well as a JSON syntax error

SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON

And advice or fixes to this page would be greatly appreciated!
