Mimir Restore data from S3

Suppose there was a scenario where Mimir's retention policy was adjusted, and historical data is no longer visible. However, the data chunks are stored in S3 with versioning enabled, making restoration possible.

Upon restoration, the data initially appears in Mimir, but after some time, it seems to get removed again, and we are unable to view it in the Grafana dashboard.

Could someone advise on how to reindex the restored data to ensure it remains accessible?
