Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I prefer to read my notifications from oldest unread first, to newest last. So I always have to scroll/swipe down and find where I left off last time. If there are many new notifications, it can be difficult to find.

Describe the solution you'd like
Give option in settings to "automatically scroll to top/newest" or "maintain feed position where you left off". Perhaps this could be different for clicking a notification vs just opening the app. I usually get 20+ Android notifications before opening, and when I click the mass notification, I would like to be able to go to the oldest unread, rather than to the top of the feed.

Describe alternatives you've considered
None.

Additional context
I would like to have this option for both web interface and Android client. I didn't want to open duplicate issues unless requested.
Thank you.

Sounds like a valid use-case, let's wait for feedback from others, if this feature is useful to them.
