I am running SageTV Server version (v9.2.6.1) with the plugin comskip version 80.042.003.2 by tmiranda. I am finding the comskip plugin is working and I am generating comskip files which work during playback on my PC client application (running v9.2.6.976 64-bit).
It is not working on my SageTV HD-300 set-top box for my primary TV (also running v9.2.6.976 64-bit). This device is not showing any comskip exists in the playback recording. I have been unable to determine why. Any suggestions, help on this issue is appreciated.
FYI, although I was an occasional poster on the old SageTV forums, this is my first post on GitHub. My apologies if I am posting this issue incorrectly or in the wrong forum.
Best Regards,

As this is about a plugin and not the core SageTV application, I think you'd have better success posting this in the discussion section of the OpenSageTV repository. Being a user of the Comskip plugin myself, though, are your recording directories A) local to the server and B) using local filesystem paths? When I started using the plugin with SageTV Client I had to recreate my recording directories using SMB paths so they'd resolve to the same location on remote machines, although since you say it works for you with Client I guess that must not be the issue.
Thanks Lance, for the follow up.
I will take a look at that, but I suspect you are correct.
If I continue having issues, I will try that discussion group for more assistance. Perhaps I can figure out how to reach out to the plugin author as well.
Best Regards,
Eric
