The documentation on creating a Design System (DS) is quite limited, so I've turned to this forum for assistance, especially since Discord is fairly new and there hasn't been much response there. My goal is to establish a DS on top of gluestack-ui. Following the provided guide, I've ejected the config and components as recommended. Then, I've adjusted some styles for the components and tokens in the theme and config files to align with my design system. So far, everything is going well. However, when I delete all the styles from the components folder (where the theme and config files were ejected), the components lose their styling (i assume this is expected behavior since gluestack-ui is unstylled by default), but they still have there styles stored at @gluestack-ui/themed . Is there a way for my DS to extend gluestack-ui, modifying the component styles only where necessary, while leaving the rest of the components with their default gluestack-ui styles if you delete the untouched ejected themes?
