"Revert unstaged edits" kind of freezes the window

Hello,

lately i cannot revert any unstaged edits anymore.
Instead of reverting the window basically freezes and plays the notificationbell when i click on it. Only way to do anything is to terminate git cola by terminating the process from the console or the task manager.

reinstalling git cola did not help to solve this.

Something odd that might be related to this is that some days ago the confirmation window started to be extremly wide. (talking about multiple widths of my screens) reason for this guess is the bell sound. it normally only plays when there is a confirmation window open which forces interaction before i can interact with the main window again.
