If I have these tags:
#planet
#planet/earth
#planet/mercury

It would be nice if we could see them like this (obsidian example):

thank you!

Just wanted to follow up and see if there has been any progress? I can try to help with the implementation as well, if needed.

I too would like to see if there's been any progress on this. As an historian, I use a hierarchical system of date tags to associate individual blocks with a given year, month and/or day. I have literally a couple of hundred distinct date tags in my graph. It would be a real aid to me to be able to collapse them all down to a single top-level #date tag. This would make an already fabulous plug-in (thanks so much!) much more useful to me; I wouldn't have to scroll past my 200 or so date tags to find any high-level tags that start with a letter after D. If that's too much work, then how about a config setting to allow tags starting with a specified regex pattern to be excluded from the search list?
