Hi Mike, Let me explain what I was trying to do.
I was looking up case documents corresponding to the oral arguments. I
first tried searching with the docket_id in this interface,
https://www.courtlistener.com/recap/.
Then I realized that I need the docket_number not the docket_id. I found
the corresponding docket_number for docket_id in the search_docket table.
Then using that docket_number I'm able to search using this interface,
https://www.courtlistener.com/recap/. However there is only an entry and
details are simply not present, which I guess is the PACER problem.
The API would make this easier, but I understand if it's a paid product or
under lock and key for some copyright type reasons.
BTW, you guys are doing amazing work. In a world where even the
government tries to rob you for access to public data through PACER, you
are a beacon of freedom and hope!

The API asks for credentials, for example for https://www.courtlistener.com/api/rest/v3/parties/?docket=xxxxxxx. Where can I register and obtain credentials?
