Batch Number eror on Inpatient medication entry

Information about bug

While we are entering Inpatient Medication Entry , it throws error "Batch Number is Mandatory for this Item". This behaviour is correct as Stock entry should have Batch Number.

But on "Inpatient Medication Entry Detail doctype, there is no field for Batch Number.

Please add this field and fix this issue.

Thank @fkalpana I faced the same issue, I set the Batch no for the items, but upon making an Inpatient Medication Entry, I got the same error message.

Hi guys i don't think batch / serial number is not currently handled in Inpatient Medication Entry. Will post here as we have it, thanks for posting.
