cannot open a commit with gitbrowse

I'm trying to open a commit by providing it, however the code only checks commit by <cword>:

can I open a commit by providing opts.branch?

return {
  run = function(rev)
    Snacks.gitbrowse {
      what = 'commit',
      branch = rev,
    }
  end,
}

with this code the URL opens the right commit but the file and not the commit itself.

by adding these:

  if not is_commit and opts.what == "commit" and is_valid_commit_hash(opts.branch, cwd) then
    is_commit = true
    word = opts.branch
  end

I can open my commit!
