energy bank

My power provider allows people to "store" excess power that was returned to the grid in what they call a energy bank and each month on the bill it shows how much we have added or used from that bank. Is this something you would be able to incorporate?

the power flow card shows live data flows, its not really suited to showing accumulated or snapshot data

but you can do this yourself in Home Assistant. Assuming you have a way of measuring energy imported or exported, you would create a utility meter to sit on top of the import/export sensor, specifying a monthly reset interval to the utility meter.

If you have separate sensors for import and output, create two utility meters, one for each, and then a template sensor to calculate the difference between them.

Note that you measure energy in kWh or Wh (power over time), the power flow card shows instantaneous power which is measured in watts or kW.

i was originally trying to get it up like a battery but i didnt know how to set up the pulling out of the out power. i actually have your card set up using kWh and everything is matching perfectly.
