Is it somehow possible to use wildcards?

Hello all,
I saw that it is possible to add multiple entities to e.g. Grid using piping. But individual only supports 5 entities?

Would it be possible to somehow simply add sensor.*energy_today*? Alternatively, has anybody managed to get it to work with auto-entities?
