As I said, I can't import osu! files (like beatmaps) when the game is open

When I try to open a file with osu!lazer Flatpak on my file manager (Nautilus), the system logs say Importing x{.osz,.osk} but the game never reacts and rebooting the game has no effect

It's definitely not a file permissions issue as I can open the files when osu! is closed (the game starts up and collects/imports the file but with an error because I set the folder to read-only to prevent any havoc) or when drag-and-dropping

I also use SDL_VIDEODRIVER=wayland variable so that may have an impact

I had the same issue.

To fix it I deleted game with data and before installation I used sudo flatpak override sh.ppy.osu --filesystem=home and it worked.

You may also use flatseal for this
