Error launching the application #80
Comments
If I launch desktop enviroment and run the app its works correctly. |
Do you mean a remote access protocol like Xvfb or Xrdp, or do you mean a terminal emulator like xterm, or do you mean the Linux virtual console ( I suspect that the answer is going to be some environment variable that is required for X11 apps, like |
Im on a local ubuntu server terminal session (boot option multi-user.target), |
How are you doing that? What protocol? What implementation of that protocol? The Steam Link client requires a working X11 or Wayland display. If you do not have an X11 or Wayland display available, then you cannot run any graphical program, including this one. |
Hello,
I have installed from this command > flatpak install com.valvesoftware.SteamLink
When I try to run steamlink I got this error:
flatpak run com.valvesoftware.SteamLink
qt.qpa.xcb: could not connect to display
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Available platform plugins are: eglfs, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, vnc, wayland-egl, wayland, wayland-xcomposite-glx, xcb.
Im using Ubuntu 24 on a terminal session.
Thanks,
