• Current: More integrations: Integrate with more bundlers, so more folks can use Sonda
  • Parcel integration — Blocked by Help creating a new reporter (Sonda integration) parcel-bundler/parcel#10026
  • Rolldown integration — Blocked by [Feature Request]: Add module.meta.commonjs.isCommonJS property rolldown/rolldown#3002
• Next: Detect more issues with the bundle: Visually inspecting the bundle is alright, but we should warn about more common issues.
  • Show vulnerabilities in external dependencies (npm audit)
  • Warn about circular dependencies
• Add search bar (feature request (https://esbuild.github.io/analyze/ UI) : add search for a component inside the bundles evanw/esbuild#3981)
• Use URL for modals, so we can use browser navigation buttons and link to other files

Future

• Observability: Once Sonda has all the features necessary to inspect the current state of the bundles, it would be nice to start working on features that allow monitoring how the bundles change over time:
  • Build comparison
• Better UI
• Nice-to-haves: These things would be nice to have. I may do they if I'm in the mood.
  • [Webpack & Rspack] Try not to override the devtoolModuleFilenameTemplate configuration option
  • Optimize source map remapping performance

• Show compressed sizes (GZIP, Brotli)
