Looks like Cura tries to load, but the screen never opens up
I can see the cura engine and cura software in task manager,
it just hangs after trying to "Load UI"

other plugins in my folder

How do you install the plugin? The only supported ways are to use the Marketplace inside Cura or to download a .curapackage from the releases page and drop that file onto the buildplate in Cura as if you were opening a model.

Other than that, I need to see your cura.log to know what is going on.

I download the sourece code zip, unzip it, and copy the entire folder into the plugins directory just like every other plugin I'm using

IF I remove it from the plugins folder, it opens every time

heres the log

And what happens when you install the plugin in one of the two supported ways?

You don't have to be logged in to use the Marketplace dialog. I am never logged in in Cura.

cl;ick and open

I never said that was a supported way.

drag and drop (...) doesnt work in cura 5.

Are you running Cura "As administrator"? That's the only reason I know why drag and drop would not work. Running Cura "As administrator" is a bad idea.

The logs you linked to do not indicate any sort of crash.
