Until last week, my TiVo Desktop was able to transfer recordings between my laptop and TiVo Bolt+. But then something changed. I have no idea what but my TiVo Desktop could no longer see my TiVo. So, I tried pyTiVo and now am trying Archivo. I seem to be getting closer to discovering the issue but need some help. I am thinking something changed that is affecting my network security that is blocking these apps. With Archivo, I explicitly set the Bolt's IP address and it then said it was 'Fetching recording' but it has been doing that for a while and nothing is showing up.

I have run through all the troubleshooting steps I could find, rebooting the laptop, TiVo, restarting the Bonjour and other services but nothing seems to be helping. I can ping the TiVo from my laptop so they can connect. This has me thinking my firewall is blocking something I need to allow but I don't know what.

Any suggestions?

New Update: Just before writing my prior message, I noticed that the TiVo Server Service Process was allowed through public networks but not my private one. Thinking that odd, I permitted it on the private network. Lo and behold, my TiVo Desktop app is working again. It appears my big frustration for the past week has been resolved, although, I have no idea how that setting was changed.

But now that I have been exposed to this even better option of using Archivo, I would love to get that working and can use your help. After about 15 minutes of 'Fetching recordings...' Archivo has nothing to show for it. I imagine it is usually quicker than this and that something is still blocked. So, I could still use help.

I would appreciate any suggestions.
