Example lets say user enter in command prompt zpaqfranz -automenu
and a screen menu with some basic options appears for simple users like me like this....
Press 1 to add all files and folders
Press 2 to add only current files without folders
Press 2 to create a sfx file with all files and folders
Press 2 to create a sfx file with all current files without folders
Press 3 to set compression level
Press 4 to extract all files and folders in a specific path or use .. for current directory
Press 6 .....
Press 7 .....
Press 8 .....
Press 9 .....
Press 10 .....
Press 11 .....
etc etc etc
So after users press favourite choice the zpafranz automaticly do all the job automaticly :)
Something like a text gui with as many options you like for simple and for advanced users
I love zpaqfranz but sometimes its hard for me with all this switches :) Try understand me.
Make zpaqfranz a utility for all users and for for many.
No need to make that on the new version....add it as request for future versions to come
Zpaqfranz is not a tool....Its a gun. And people must know how to use this gun.
Thank you and greetings from Greece.

Your observation is very interesting.
As you may know I have long since included a kind of GUI in text format (for Windows), the command ... gui
It serves essentially to facilitate browsing and extraction (and keep me entertained)
A "real" GUI interface for Windows, i.e. PAKKA, has received exactly 3 feedbacks in over 10 years
So I COULD make a beautiful GUI...but there are no users asking for it.
I like the idea of making some kind of Wizard.
I'm glad you like it.
The "some kind of wizard" will make zpaqfranz more userfriendly.
You can also make one "custom context menus program" for zpaqfranz that will come together with zpaqfranz builds.
Lets say user execute it then....
When user selects files or folders or both and right click with mouse a menu appears with one magic word ZPAQFRANZ
All the "text GUI" we said before can be done in there with NICELY SORTED custom context submenus.
Add Files--------->submenus to set level etc etc
Extract------------ submenus to select directory etc etc etc
List-------------->submenus To view files inside archive
etc etc etc
In order to be execute this correctly the user will only to have latest zpaqfranz build on his windows directory
What do you think ? (You will only have to update the custom context menus.as a GUI)
Also you will have to make "one other executable" to remove the whole thing (context menus)
or you can put it inside zpaqfranz and trigger it with -menusON and -menusOFF switches
What do you thing ?
I hope in the future to see a "mount zpaqfranz files" as virtual hard disks
