Media module taking ime to sync with music player #483

When I pause a music in Spotify, it takes like more than 7 seconds for it to sync with the media module and show that the music has been paused.
In the screen shot, you can see that Spotify is playing, but the media module is not.

Same issue occurs when I next a song, or go to the previous song
