Hi,

I couldn't find a place where to discuss/find help about aTox, so I am posting here...
Could you tell me what is UDP in the settings?

Thank you.

UDP means Tox will try to establish direct-connections with your contacts, and that you participate in onion routing. It uses more bandwidth and battery, but has faster file transfers and better calls.
TCP uses relays to connect to your contacts, so you're not part of the onion and it uses less data and battery, but transfers and calls are slower.
I'll leave this issue open and we'll add a description to the settings page. :)
Thank you for asking!
